Microsoft Security Bulletin Update

April 2007

Microsoft has identified a new vulnerability in multiple versions of Windows operating systems.  The vulnerability may be exploited in systems running the Microsoft DNS Server component.  At this time Microsoft has not yet released a patch to address this issue.

RALS-Plus systems would not be directly at risk from this issue since they are not (and should not be) configured to run as a DNS server.  However, due to the potential risks to the operations of all systems on the local network should a DNS server be compromised, we wanted to alert our customers to be aware of this issue.

For additional information on this issue please refer to Microsoft’s website.
