All POC Tests Simplifies Training
If
your facility employs multiple data management programs, your
staff might be spending more time learning about software than
about the needs of their patients. As a vendor-independent
solution, RALS-Plus manages the data from multiple vendor
devices using the same menus, tables and databases. Simply
put, once you are trained on managing results from one device,
you’re pretty much trained on all of them. RALS-Plus is
divided into two operating sections:
-
System
Management, which enables users to view and edit devices and
tests throughout the RALS-Plus network, and;
-
Device
Management which enables users to select an individual
device and view specific information.
Transfers
All Test Results to the Laboratory Information System
Studies
have indicated that nearly 60% of all POC tests never make it to
the patient record*. Tests that a doctor is never aware of and
tests that the hospital never accounts for. RALS-Plus
enables all tests to be recorded on the patient’s electronic
record, optimizing the POC program’s efficiency and offering
the potential to turn the program from a cost center into a
profit center if the institution bills for POCT. RALS-Plus
takes test data and transfers Patient ID, Operator ID, Device
ID, Test Date and Time, Test Type, Test Value, Units of
Measurement, and Comment Codes as needed in the individual site.
Optimizes
Patient
Verification Data
The
RALS-Plus ADT interface optimizes the verification of patient
POC data by monitoring the HIS to gather demographic and visit
information. RALS-Plus also verifies patient ID by device
assigned location, or download location versus patient location
at the time of the test, and enables specific information such
as account numbers to be transferred.
Captures Every
Test, Every Time, Everywhere
RALS-Plus is the leading vendor-independent connectivity
system for POCT and provides you with total control of your
program. At the click of an icon you can view all results
that have been downloaded, display all results that have been
flagged based on setup criteria, electronically manage all
system operators - by device, email weekly and monthly reports
and so much more.
