What is LinkedIn?
LinkedIn is a professional networking site. It provides
you with the opportunity to share your educational and
professional experience, maintain the essential business
contacts that you’ve established over the years, meet
new contacts through the people you already know, and
network. You don’t have to worry about keeping track of
contact information for colleagues anymore. As their
employment changes, they’ll update their profiles, and
by having them in your network you’ll be able to stay in
touch. In addition to maintaining your contacts,
LinkedIn has many useful applications such as document
sharing, discussion boards, and polls.
