Signature+ Interfaced to RALS®-Plus Information
Management System

31, 2003 – Medical Automation Systems, Inc. (MAS;
Charlottesville, VA) announces the availability of ITC’s
Hemochron Signature+ Coagulation device to its RALS-Plus
interface menu.
The
Signature+ is a low blood volume, cuvette based whole blood
microcoagulation instrument that performs a wide range of
point-of-care tests including ACT-LR (low range), ACT+, PT,
Citrate PT, APTT and Citrate APTT.
Configuration
and management functions for device tests are accessed in one
system using RALS-Plus. Through
the RALS-Plus system, users can now access a host of functions
through the user interface, including:
Users
can also manage operators and certification for the Signature+
in one system and configure Signature+ device options over the
network from the RALS-Plus system without leaving their office.
The Signature + interface is now available in the 1.2.1
release of RALS-Plus, which also includes interfaces to the
Roche Diagnostics AccuChek Inform, HQ and GTS glucose devices,
the Roche Coaguchek ProDM coagulation device; Lifescan’s
SureStep Flexx and SureStep Pro glucose devices; I-STAT’s
I-STAT 1 and PCA blood gas devices; Bayer Diagnostic’s
Rapidpoint Coagulation device; Biosite’s cardiac marker
devices; Instrumentation
Laboratory’s GEM®
Premier 3000 blood
gas device; and
HemoCue’s
HemoCue®
B-Hemoglobin DM
device.
